I have always loved the finger training part of piano practice. It is repetitive in the best sense: objective, habit forming, and honest. If the tempo is steadier than last week, if the passage is more even, if the hands stay controlled under pressure, the progress is real.

The app started as a tool for my own practice. I could not understand why MIDI was not being used more directly for technique work. A keyboard can tell us far more than whether the right notes happened. It can expose timing, consistency, velocity, and the small variations that determine whether a passage is actually under control.

There are many apps for learning piano. There are far fewer for disciplined, data-driven technique practice. The Hanon Method is meant to live in that space: calm, focused, and useful for players who want evidence they can practice from.

Feedback is welcome

Please reach out with any and all feedback. I would like to hear how the tool is being used, where it is unclear, and what would make it more helpful in serious day-to-day practice.
